This week I want to share with you my love of ELF cosmetics. ELF was introduced to me by one of my very closest friends. I was lucky enough to be her bridesmaid last year and be part of her very stylish wedding. My friend has exceptional taste think Alice Temperley wedding dress, Ghost bridesmaid dresses etc so I was a little relieved that she was dressing me for her big day! When she had her make up trial her make up artist told her about ELF and how she uses it all the time. Her make up artist trained in London and worked in TV before relocating back to the midlands. As soon as she told me about it I logged on and ordered about 20 products because the best thing about ELF is the price! It is really cheap and if you sign up to emails you can find out about delivery deals and extra savings as well. My most recent ELF order was last week but I haven't tried everything yet so will bring you a review on those bits soon (if you want!) but here are my favourite products from ELF.
Before I give you these I do want to give one disclaimer (no, I'm not being sponsored by ELF this is all me!) but obviously sometimes it can be difficult to order make up over the internet so sometimes the colours might vary a bit from what you see on the screen but in all honesty if I can't choose between two colours on this website then I get both.
Eyebrow Lifter and Filler
Eyebrow Treat and Tame
This eyebrow product was in my latest buy from ELF so I can't yet review the "treat" end but I'm loving the tame. I've been using the filler as above and then the tame in dark over the top and liking the results! I feel it gives my eyebrows a more natural look. Another product at £3.75
Moisturising Lipstick
Ok, now it's time to 'fess up. I am a lipstick addict! It started a couple of years ago I love buying lipsticks but quickly fall out of many of them. My lips aren't generally high maintenance but add lipstick and my lips dry out immediately. However these little beauties really are moisturising and kind to lips. In my latest buy I bought Velvet rope and red carpet. I like both colours but Red carpet isn't the deep rich red that I was hoping for and more pinky on me. I still like it but am still searching for a deep red that's perfect for my skin tone. Again these are £3.75 and I have my eyes on Party in the Buff (above) and Flirty and Fabulous.
ELF Makeup mist and set
This is a great little product for setting your make up. It's refreshing and really does help set make up but if your skin gets shiny like mine then this doesn't completely stop that I'm afraid. Another £3.75 bargain
Eye Make up remover pen
If, like me you make mistakes particularly when applying eye make up then this little remover pen is ideal! And at £3.75 as well!!
There was a couple of other products that I've ordered in the past but can't find on the site now which is a shame! There is plenty more on the website that I have my eyes on so when I purchase more and find more favourites I'll let you know! As a tip it's worth signing up to ELF emails because they often email offer codes to you to make it even cheaper!
Have you tried ELF and have any favourite products? Or do you have a secret gem of a beauty website to share? If you try any products please let me know always interested to hear what people think!
